Katelin Wilcox is a an actor and playwright based in NYC. She fell in love with Shakespeare while studying at the Globe Theatre in London, and her strong classical background was further developed at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey where she has appeared in eight productions. She has been part of The CRY HAVOC Company, a new play development company, for over ten years, where she continues to hone her playwriting skills.

Katelin was born in Maine, grew up in South Carolina, and went to school in the midwest, earning a BA double major in theater and economics from the University of Notre Dame. Though perhaps known more for their football team than their theater program (Go Irish!), she wrote her first play as her senior honors thesis, which later became The Pawnbroker - a one-woman show about Brecht - which had a critically acclaimed run in the New York Fringe Festival and was extended as part of the Fringe Encore Series. Katelin is a proud member of Actors Equity and the Dramatists Guild.

Katelin lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter. She likes movie trivia, long distance running, and listening to podcasts about movie trivia while long distance running.
